Mental-health awareness advocate and award-winning singing talent Anthony Rubery releases his brand new EP. Antisocial is a collection of five amazingly written and recorded tracks that showcase the vocalist's talent and range. Writing his own songs, Anthony Rubery takes inspiration from stars like Ed Sheeran as well as hip-hop production vibes he's picked up along the way. The new single is taken from the record. Overdue is perhaps a word many of us can feel and relate to. Let's see what this song is all about.


A strummed steel-string acoustic portrays a thoughtful groove as Anthony's voice flies out of crevices in the tone. An evocative and melancholy voice saunters along the chords as dreamy emotions fall like globules of rain. Strings find a niche within the composition, they boost the minor key with a touch of cinematica. Slow progression with upbeat elements with the lyrics lend us a song that feels like a love song to circumstance. It culminates with a burst of sunny electric guitar that swings in with a hammer-blow of sound. The chorus repeats and we are lifted into the spirit of the song even further.
