Dead Crow Road – She's Mine | Alternative Fruit

Dead Crow Road
Dead Crow Road
She's Mine

This supergroup of Outlaw Country Rockers made up from established and well—known Americana musicians are hitting the airwaves with their collaborative sounds. Members of this band have written with and played alongside folks such as Ashley Campbell, Chas Sanford, Eddie Heinzelman and David Mindel. This jacuzzi of vibrant talent clearly can't help but bubble up music as naturally as waking up in the morning, or is that the afternoon?

The music begins with a crash of guitar, followed by a smooth and upbeat drumbeat. Distorted chords ring over the steady bars as the vocal line begins. Paced, well articulated, and easy to remember lines swing past in a frenzy of emotion and rock. The music raises up for a sneaky guitar solo that thrashes the fretboard with a fiery energy. A fantastic progression just keeps on pushing and rising as lyrics and blues jingle to a country beat.

The Hourglass

Already well-known for quality music, this Reverb Nation number one artist is hitting the radio all over the world. Their new track, The Hourglass, wants to examine the relationship between time and material. Two opposing energies in the universe or two dancers creating something to feel? Music with great depth always makes us think so let's listen!

The song begins with symphonic guitar that shines with heavy chorus. Twin vocals between male and female synchronise their voices across a delicious melody. Resonating harmonies build a bridge onto a platform where an immense electric guitar churns out the blues. Power chords ring out in neat riff packages as a hollering vocal swings from note to note. Epic and dramatic, plus full of uplifting energy, The Hourglass is a full-on rock anthem stuffed with swagger and class.

Things Fall Apart

After watching various TV and film, then finding an affiliation for the expert and moving soundtracks, Random Order began forming their own compositions. Their homages to the great late night have seen them hit several music charts and radio stations on a global scale. Random Order's upbeat and mentally stimulating creations have earned them a reputation for motivational and creativity inspiring music.

Things Fall Apart opens with an immediate vocal, harmonising voices sing the chorus line to a bouncy reggae beat. Fancy acoustic guitar twiddles along with an off-beat jive as brass instruments add blasts of thunder along the emotive sections. The verse begins a story of life, trouble, and getting on. The music speaks of the trials of life and the need to constantly make efforts to look on the bright side.

Bailey & The Ghostwriter
She's Sick

London based funk and vocal duo Bailey & The Ghostwriter feature in Sound Read today. Who is The Ghostwriter? He always wears a mask, yet Bailey was able to identify him regardless. Knowing this intuition was a sign of things to come, the pair began writing and performing together. The result is a brilliant sound that makes use of great musical ability and vocal prowess.

The music begins with a spacious synthesiser that creates a groovy vibe in the stereo arena. A guitar begins strumming chords with jazzy inflections to a funky beat. The rhythm is struck by a clever drum beat, throwing splashy beats down in well-timed and intelligent formations. A great disco theme runs through the vocal melody, notes helter-skelter along the chorus lines as verses coil and wrap like snug blankets.

Rivers Of England – Late Night, Heavy Rain, Waiting For A Train | Alternative Fruit
Rivers Of England
Late Night, Heavy Rain, Waiting For A Train

We're headed back home to England today for a trip down to The Rivers Of England. Their recent track, Late Night, Heavy Rain, Waiting For A Train, is in review today. The music makes an appearance on their brand new EP out on Bremen's Songs and Whispers. This folk ballad and blues band from the UK are well known for their cool delivery and quality multi-instrumental compositions. These guys are a hot ticket, with professional quality performances lending their input at every opportunity they don't just sound good on the videos, they're great in person as well.

The music begins with acoustic guitar and a thunderous double bass. The notes slide and strum in a delicate and melodic groove. Emotional words start, they craft an image of loneliness and wanderlust combined. The man at the bridge by the railway line, standing in the rain, where do you think he will go? Does escape into something new or something old sound best? The music progresses and thrusts with well positioned surges of compositional power. Chords, drums, and bass resonate in chunks of impetus as the choral words continue the story.

Mali Ama - Say | Alternative Fruit

Mali Ama
Mali Ama
Say

RnB rising star Mali Ama is glistening the airwaves with her latest song, Say. She's built a fan-base to be reckoned with by creating fresh sounding tunes that stay true to the genre. Written as a track to drive to, or chill with friends after lock-down, Say is bound to speak up for this artist.

The music starts with bubbling tones that dance in dreamy phrases. As Mali Ama begins to sing, her words slowly dress the music in beautiful clothes. Rhythm breaks with a clicking of the fingers. Gentle beats evaporate in the warmth of the subtle composition. As the music progresses, the lyrics become denser and the beats begin to fizz in new layers. All you gotta do is say.. the chorus line gives us hope that there are people that will listen.
