Dead Beat Poet
South East London rockers Whitestar unleash a head-turning single from their already acclaimed album. Dead Beat Poet (Not sure if I should be offended as a poet or uplifted as a selling one) is from their album Starlight Requiem. Bromley and beyond have been treated to their shows, as many reputable venues have graced their sound over the years. Getting the album out was a momentous task, as it should be, and getting everything just right clearly paid off.
The music begins with keyboard choir sounds. Then organ begins with the voice. A male vocal full of emotion sings of his moral values. The rhythm is slow at first, then all of a sudden, it breaks into quick time. The song talks about the desire to sin, to cheat, and to lie. Not sure if I can relate however it sounds good. Perhaps someone out there fits the song nicely, perhaps it's the same people who read this site and claim to be socialists but then act like capitalists by never donating. Big thanks to everyone who's donated recently, you know we rely on you!!! It's fun and gleeful yet riddled with depressing vibes. Weakness and infidelity seem to be glorified in a twisted jig to backwards humanity. Interesting stuff.
