Swedish singing sensation Simon Andersson has been described as the next big thing from this part of the world. He's been totally musical since he was a young boy and with a love of performance, it didn't take long before Simon Andersson became highly proficient and talented. Recently, he won the Best Country Song of the Year in the Hollywood Music in Media Awards. Now we get to hear his version of this classic Tracy Chapman song, setting the target even higher than before.


It opens with a haunting piano melody that spans out to encompass Simon Andersson's voice. The familiar words ring out to the time of the tempo rich keys, backed up by subtle drums. New percussion sneaks in by the end of th verse and the rhythm becomes intense. Then it hits us, a distorted electric guitar strikes a chord which glides across the music. New drums with powerful hits snap and crack as the piano and voice continue with ever more pressure. The rock n roll simmers down for a moment to let the song build up again. Fantastic energy and soaring vocals bring us towards a sense of future hope.
