Queen of Lovers' Rock Carroll Thompson, whose credits include working with Michael Jackson and Stevie Wonder, has a God Son. Film-maker and musician Nana D enjoys having Carroll's influence in his life and definitely knows what to do with it. He's made the music-video himself, from writing and performing to filming and editing. This truly is a huge project for a man to take on but this is no ordinary man. Nana D now releases his video single to the world, are we ready for his brand of Afrobeat groove?
The music opens with a melody which is joined by snare drums and bass. Nana D begins to sing, his African accent instantly places us in a warm place. He sings with a loving emotion behind the words, the track opens the heart of a man for a woman to weigh up for herself. Another male vocalist opens the second verse. U.c.h.e.n.n.a. takes the stage for another round of heart-felt expression. Feelings of attachment and an understanding of change in the air mix to provide a mixed feeling of momentary peace.
