Ireland's prominent electronic music scene is given a boost with this latest single from electro-pop diva Pastiche. The song looks at obtaining fame as an adventure an artist must undertake. Gathering attention and importance in relevant ways is usually dependent on outside circumstances, and often we look for happy accidents that make us stand out.


It begins with a snug vibration from a vinyl recording. Pastiche begins singing to the sound of euphoric synthesiser. Powerful and emotive words span several notes on courageous scales that seem so easy for her. A throbbing bass enters as the song builds into new layers. Harmonising tones and smashing breaks throw us into a realm of pure feeling as easy to remember words call out in moreish bars.
