At just twelve years old, Mia-Le features in Alternative Fruit today. Since writing her first proper song at the age of seven and winning a songwriting competition two years later, Mia-Le has been propelled into music. The video begins with Mia-Le walking through a wooded area and into an abandoned building. Piano and vocal then spring from the silence. Mia-Le sings in beautiful and resonant melodies that span entire ranges. Synthesiser adds a sprinkling of modernity before rhythm and vocal effect push the mix right into the now. Delicate percussion builds energy beneath evolutionary composition and story-telling. The song floats like ice-cream on a glass of ice-cold coke.
