Nashville based heavy rockers VERIDIA took their name from the Latin word for Truth. Drawing on philosophical concepts in their music and imagery, taking the notion of truth to its musical extremes, this American rock outfit has become more than just flavour of the month. Having been at the #1 spot in the US Billboard Charts, supported huge bands like Evanescence, and had their music produced by the same technician as Panic! At The Disco, The Beast You Feed looks like it’s athletically fit and raring to be set loose on the world. With an ethnic orientated intro melody, the song pushes on and in with an interesting and fast paced groove. Within moments, strong and full of feeling vocals begin to lap the shores crafted by drum and guitar. A singing style reminiscent of Gwen Stefani effortlessly lays down the lyrics with emotive clarity. Punchy guitars chug in the foreground to pulsating beats thrown down on the rock n roll drumkit. Melody and flow combine with hard hitting lines to create a surging power-rock feel decorated splendidly with a strong female voice.
