Nigerian born Skyface Joe discovered a love for music at the age of 8. During his formative years, Joe took to making beats on anything he could find, even the school desk with his pencils. After studying at Benin University, and appearing on Nigerian TV on many occasions, Joe decided his future lay in Europe. Travelling via Libya, he took the treacherous journey as an immigrant. Italy became his home, and it wasn't long before Skyface Joe had settled nicely in Turin. From here, he continued to impress and entertain with his musical ability. As a front-man and composer, Skyface Joe brings a unique breed of energy and fun that shines through his music. After working with a group called Three Live Dudes, Joe took the solo path which opened up a whole new world of possibilities.  

It begins with a hip-hop riff that jingles in a wavering style. The beats bring in a new level of groove which serve as Joe's cue to begin. Hard-hitting and gutsy vocals rap and rhyme around in circular motions to the beat. Layers of voice bring angular directions which all point back to the central chorus. Dirtily mixed to bring out the true feeling of Joe's message, offering empowering emotions to those like him, those who may need the boost to survive. Joe's been luckily blessed with skills and courage, I am sure that with music like this, the strength of his being can rub off on those who listen.
