Already known on the screen for her star role as Jessy in the Street film franchise, GG has begun to craft a music career too. There doesn't seem to be anything stopping her, at thirteen years old, this child star can do anything she wants. The same age as my daughter, who I am so proud of that I wrote a book about her, it feels like Las Vegas must be another universe as GG is signed on Hook & Rhymes as well as being soon to be in living rooms around the world on DVD. With influences such as George Michael, who I once washed dishes for on his rehearsals, and the much appreciated Ariana Grande who refused to put her sunshine away as we so fondly remember, GG makes an impression on both sides of the pop music fence.


We hit it off straight away as the smooth drum beat brings home a well mannered but rough around the edges riff. Suddenly, as GG begins to sing, we realise what all the fuss is about. Her melodies drift out in precise pourings of luxurious flow. Rivers of beautiful voice play with each other as various layers bring out harmonies and emotion which, with a sense of young urgency, spell out a heart's dilemma. Pop rock with enough behind it to sit among the likes of Brian Adams or Nickleback, and a voice that reaches deep into the world of RnB with the continual brilliance offered in melody and range.


I'm looking forward to watching GG progress through the years, it seems to me that all we need to do is keep nodding and smiling. She's got this.
