Since Black Hole, in which this singer-songwriter delved deep into the philosophy of existence, we're now given the other side of the coin. About free love, confidence, liberal values for women, and much more, Party On My Own is all about being who you are and loving it. With the help of SAFO Music Group, who helped to mastermind the rise and rise of Sam Smith and Pixie Lott, Freya Alley presents her groundbreaking electro-pop sound.


It sounds a bit like Goldfrapp (signed stuff) might have done if they hadn't made it big with Felt Mountain. Plenty of feels and groove surge from the composition, the more seductive and light-hearted elements of their sound have found a neat little home with Freya Alley. Digital effects on the vocals work a wonderful magic while melody and rhythm bring a silky flow to the song. Perfect rise and fall in the energy make the dynamics of the track really enjoyable. It's one of those stand-out moments for Freya, where we really get to feel what drives her to perform and make music. It's all about fun, imagination, and being proud of who we are.
