Success in Rwanda for education measures in their post millennium uphill struggle to sovereign dignity in Africa.
Following the publication of UN Global Education Development Report, for Rwanda, the results are extremely positive. Having established for themselves an online system of communication across the country for provision of books and resources and with money given directly out in the provision of computers for children, named the One Laptop Per Child Scheme, a 98% success rate has been recorded. As a developing nation with severe problems in modern history, having a new lease of life is something we all can take inspiration from. Rising from the ashes of the post traumatic life brought about by war and famine, a new nation is rising to meet the needs of its people. Being driven to provide “equity, quality, and inclusive education for all” Daily Nation Kenya, the future of Africa's struggling nations looks a little brighter thanks to the hard work of all, at home and abroad. Empowering children now gives a great workforce, leadership, and cultural injection in years to come. This is how we invest in people. |
