It's Good To Know

Integration within the education system is a vital part of its success, as in we do not learn from the teacher alone but from those around us, friends and colleagues alike. In order to ensure that the impressionable younger children are not drawn towards unhelpful thinking and influences, teachers are needed to not only teach but stand as an example adult, demonstrating day after day how to maturely and professionally get on with things. Being there for all children in all their large array of difficulties is not easy and staff will need support. Class sizes are far too big for one on one interaction and so children will naturally go to their friends for support during class.
Applying various styles of teaching will result in a significant increase in pass rates, as we all have a slightly different preference to learning. Seeing as I am an auditory learner, it was fine for me to look out of the window while listening, but of course this resulted in being lectured to pay attention. Others like to touch and feel their way through learning, and others like to see it before their eyes. A multiple approach will of course get the most out of learners in any environment. Giving each other the confidence and skills to know that they can achieve things they enjoy and are good at will be paramount to creating a mentally fertile next generation, ready and willing to try new approaches and ideas. By mixing children from all types of life and background, we learn how to interact, and how to be open at the same time as respecting differences. Pride is very real, and so is cultural taboo, we must honour those things as effects within those realms can have explosive results. Mixing is a great way to make sure those mistakes happen in the playground and during discussion time, and not during vital work later in life. With the onset of online education, this is aiding a great deal for children and adults at the same time. Never intended to replace traditional schools, online learning is a supplement and a tool to help people take control of their lives in their own time. It's great that children of today can go to the internet and be retaught their lessons again from various sources, and truly get to grips with their subject. Teachers need not be afraid of this, it is only serving to make their job a bit easier. The snag is making sure we are talking to real experts, and to make sure it is best to go to accredited organisations. Breaking the habit of creating a dual society of those with skills and those without, clear thinkers and clear doers, having more diversity and combinations of education style and system ,in the one school, is a way of giving students the proper chance they deserve at finding their true a path in life, according to their skills, interests and sensitivities.` |
