From Valley Of Thorns
After playing at Camden Rocks and Download, The Kut have made huge waves on national radio and written media. Alternative Fruit featured The Kut previously too, and now they're back with another gift to the radio. Princess Maha, the multi-instrumentalist composer and figure-head of the band, has yet more fiery energy to show that this is a group we will be hearing a lot more from.
It starts with a bouncy blues riff on a distorted electric guitar. A smooth rock beat surges the music as Princess Maha begins the first verse. A Nirvana sounding groove washes us in nostalgic allure while the fresh and modern sounding composition gives us a fun and enjoyable hit. The music builds, it progresses quickly into a ferocious heavy rock song, powerful and punchy. Drums smash through with massive bursts of tom-tom to culminate the chorus before that catchy guitar riff starts over. What makes a brilliant alternative rock outfit is only made better by the singer's fangs.
