When I Saw You Tonight
Country pop superstar Chloe Collins has been featured on TV with a couple of her tracks. Both the ABC network and CMT put her on the air for episodes of The Vineyard and NASHVILLE. Being from Nashville herself, Chloe Collins brings her very own brand of warm and accessible American folk to a national audience and beyond. Previously likened to Taylor Swift's early work, as well as that of Ed Sheeran, those huge footsteps to walk in could lead her anywhere.
The track starts with a great guitar sound. An acid folk psychedelic effect runs through the veins of the six string. Chloe Collins starts to sing, the music revs up with powerful rock drums and heavy strokes on a warm electric guitar. With powerful words and an even stronger voice, the song points at truths other people may not want to hear. When it's not you making things difficult, when it's not you who are acting strange, but you're the one being made to feel guilty somehow – something else has to change.
It's deliciously accurate and perhaps a guilty pleasure, when we think to ourselves, I'm actually not the problem here.
